Love seeing Ahmad Hardy being featured on ESPN Gameday. Of course, those of us who cheer for ULM already knew he was special. I'm glad he is successful.

I'm excited about the opening of Calder Gardens in Philadelphia. He is such a fascinating artist. Philly is on my list to visit next year, and now, so is Calder Gardens. www.inquirer.com/arts/a/calde...
After two decades, Calder Gardens has finally arrived
Near the Rodin, Barnes, and Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Gardens is the next big contributor on the Parkway to the city's cultural tourism.

I'm enjoying watching the final stage of the @lavuelta.bsky.social ride into Madrid and showing my husband where I visited last December. I loved my trip to Spain and want to go back.

While I haven't intentionally turned on a Detroit Tigers game ⚾️ (we are usually tuning in for the opposing team) we have caught Skubal pitching often this summer. Wow! Has he been on fire. 🔥 He's been fun to watch. Might have to be more intentional.

I made a donation to a nonprofit organization in recognition of a friend who did a favor and didn't want to be reimbursed. I The thank you note from the organization said "in memory of. ' I double-checked the online form, and it clearly says, "In honor." Should I say something to the organization?

Just finished watching #goodnightandgoodluck on @cnn.com . Absolutely fabulous and I am so glad they showed it. I read Murrow's biography several years ago and admired him since. I grew up a newspaper baby. I've always believed in the watchdog role of journalism. So many things to think about. #gngl

Weeks like this one remind me of why I wanted to be a veterinarian. Pets don't email me or ask questions. And while Scarlett does want time on my calendar, it's just so we can sit and be content. I love what I do, but this (supposed) week off contract has been exhausting.

How much of the US federal budget is allocated to AmeriCorps?

0.02% of the 13-digit budget goes to AmeriCorps. Every dollar invested turns into over $17 in economic and community benefits.

But we guess DOGE considers that fraud, waste, and abuse.
