You think she's wrong?

I think they'll get wiped out at the next election. One Nationals will be the opposition, but many more Independents will be elected. We'll be OK 👍

Policy uncertainty requires a belief that they could possibly form a government to implement their policies. I think many have moved on from believing in that wishful thinking.

Meanwhile, the plan is public subsidy of coal mines and propping up aged 'clunker' coal-fired power stations.
I'm thinking about trading my EV for a 1974 Holden Kingswood too.

Hard to set long-term targets when your political life expectancy is measured in weeks...

Guardian reports "Future Coalition government would not withdraw from Paris climate agreement".
Future coalition government? Who are they kidding?

Soon enough we have two minor opposition parties. The conservative Liberal Party and One National Party. Advance and Sky News will finish the Liberal Party off.

Embarrassingly awkward. No self-respecting uni student would go anywhere near them.

Just a reminder: my argument is only that Amazon is not shit as the referenced article states.
I'm not defending Bezos. This Bezos pile-on is tiresome.
October 6, 2025 at 12:01 AM
I don't enjoy going to shops. Which online Amazon alternatives do you recommend?
October 5, 2025 at 10:22 PM
Where do you shop online now?
October 5, 2025 at 12:09 PM
I usually compare prices on other retail sites, and for same product, inclusive of shipping, if it's cheaper elsewhere I would buy it. That's rarely the case. As for boosting products, that's been happening since we used Altavista search engine on Netscape browser. I only buy brands I know and trust
October 5, 2025 at 12:08 PM
Have you ever been an Amazon subscriber, Margaret?
October 5, 2025 at 11:41 AM
The entire argument. Starting from "how did Amazon get so rubbish?" All the way through to "The platform has turned into a pile of shit, and we’re at the bottom of it."
I just don't agree that Amazon is rubbish.
October 5, 2025 at 11:40 AM
I read the article you quoted, and disagreed with it.
If you want to point out that Bezos is screwing over suppliers, employees and the planet, I would have no objection. But which operator is better?
October 5, 2025 at 9:56 AM
I use Amazon infrequently, but maintain my subscription. I think it's worthwhile. I ignore the myriad sins of Bezos for the choice, value and convenience. It's not yet shit, IMHO.

Feels like Antoinette Latouf all over again. That went well for the employer stuck in the middle, didn't it?
