Season 2 of Avatar the Last Airbender.
Just when you think it can’t get any better they add the show’s two best characters.

I love how HiDive just assigns random release dates to episodes.
All of these episodes came out last month.

This month is the 10-year anniversary of my Monster Objects art display.
I've brought back out the life-sized Minecraft models that I first made then.

I’m partial to Sword of Doom (1966) over Satan’s Sword (1960).
Mostly because of this scene.

In “Secrets of a Silent Witch” episode 11, Monica Norton wins her first chess game playing as black. The game she played that matches her scorecard is a famous game by the genius Nimzowitsch.

I love it when storytellers get chess details right.

Ah yes, I remember that grunge anthem of 1991: "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor.

I think a lot about this scene from Sword of Doom (1966).
Though the role is small, Toshiro Mifune shines portraying a skilled and righteous sword instructor.
In this wintery scene he is mistakenly targeted by a score of nameless assassins.
