So my husband said the Ascension started at sunset on Tues 27th May but the commemoration would be either 3 or 4 am on the 28th dependent on daylight savings time or not.

Yes probably good to have a proper conversation with a Baha’i about these matters and the teachings in general to get a rounded and more in-depth understanding. Sure you can find some Bahais nearby who would be happy to discuss. 😄

Hi Ash, I’m a Baha’i from the UK. Honestly just be yourself, that’s all we should do. If they have issues with that it’s their lack of love. And take deep breaths 😄 I was raised by super Bahai parents who emphasised not fitting into a ‘mould’ but just try and be true to the teachings xx

Baha’is are not allowed to embalm the dead so no pumping full of chemicals. Only simple burial in a coffin
