The consultation outcome and decision for the proposed Cyclops in Oadby, Leicester has gone extremely quiet. In fact, active travel in Leicestershire has gone very quiet. In the meantime:

Here’s a local FB response when talking about traffic. Nevertheless, residents are forming a traffic reduction group as many see the issue. Some people are resigned to ‘that’s just how it is’ complacency not understanding we should have better infrastructure and not believing people would use it.

Our most dangerous junction here. With a crash (fairly regular occurrence) just happened. Residents complain. LA does nothing unless there’s a fatality. In industry, safety is all about near misses to prevent injuries/fatalities. Why not with road safety? Cars park near junction making it worse.
