I always liked this quote from Ursula K. Le Guin about how SF is not predictive, but instead descriptive.

I love this witty and honest meme. Here is the version I first saw some years ago.

Another sometimes forgotten disadvantage to changing the clocks twice a year.

Picking up from our family’s favorite local sushi place today, I saw this on their television “aquarium”.
It’s more than just a little reminiscent of Paul Kidbys’s Great A’Tuin painting. Seeing this made me unreasonably happy. Not just merely due to tasty sushi.
