If said "common tags" are just words that describe what is actually relevant to the image itself & they're not there just for ~exposure~, then that's fine imho.

however, people do the latter out of habit, especially to be 100% sure the algorithm/AI/whatever picks the specific words, I included.

the posts containing the muted word disappear completely, even if it's in alt text. which is why there was a whole ordeal a while back about some people using alt text as a tagging system, rather than for its actual purpose.
