How bad will it be? Catastrophic.
Proposed cuts to #NSF, #NIH, and #NASA will set the US R&D landscape back 25 yrs+, cause economic and job loss now, and undermine innovations to come.

New NSF guidelines. Pay particular attention to 35.1.c (no 'discrimination' against Israeli companies) and 35.2.a (i) (NO DEI practices). The wording is vague enough that universities may pre-emptively capitulate. Share Widely. #NSF #AcademicSky nsf-gov-resources.nsf.gov/files/gc1-ma...

I walked out of a faculty senate town hall on the administration's attempt to blow up higher education this evening, looked up in the sky to see the debris from Musk's spaceship blowing up over the Bahamas and South Florida.
