Would the sociological impact of Frank Herberts Dune series on modern society qualify?

I've read those books so many times between 1986 and now, they've definitely changed my life. But the encyclopedic Dune-philopedia you call your brain makes me look like a bumbling newb.

One problem. The Supreme Court in it's infinite wisdom {tries to keep a straight face and not choke} decided to make criminal prosecution of a current or former U.S. President extremely difficult.
