Heads up to everyone on the #EastCoast of the #UnitedStates, #TropicalStormChantel is making landfall in the #Carolinas tonight and is expecting to reach the #MidAtlantic sometime sunday/monday. Stay safe out there.
Cyclocane.com aggregate storm track for 03 AL - Tropical Storm Chantal with an expected landfall between 8pm EDT and 2am EDT over the boarder region of North and South Carolina. The storm is expected to impact Raleigh, Richmond, and Virgina Beach Metro Areas over land before breaching the Atlantic Ocean over DelMarVa Sunday afternoon. The storm is then expected to ride the East Coast of the United States through Cape May, New York City, Providence, and Boston before exiting off towards Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador in Canada. The storm is then expected to jettison over to Western Europe in the proceeding weeks.
