Yesterday my mamod tractor got a taste of American firing. Now that Mamod is out of business, I bought some fire lighters to try in the firebox. It worked alright but produced a lot of smoke. The whistle was entirely blackened by the end of the day

Weirdly even though the Metro North ones are indeed MNCR on the big sleeve, the individual boxes are marked as MBTA. But the car numbers match up to what's in the box. Idk what happened here

Probably the most money I've spent on model trains in one go. 7 of the new Rapido Metro North Comet Cars to make a full consist. Can't wait for the P32 release! Expect a video on these in the future!
