I feel like they have to softball Republicans otherwise they're just gonna boycott Meet the Press. Unfortunate, but that's the way things are.

If I'm meant to get "billionaire is a greedy asshole" out of this, well no shit. This doesn't dispute what I said. He will want something out of Bluesky at some point but for the time being he's in favor of it. I don't know when he'll turn tail, but he'll do it eventually.

I can't speak for everyone, but my best guess is that decades of pent-up anger about the way things are being run now and in our future has finally burst forth. Civil disobedience isn't working, so people are resorting to violence.

In short:
"I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!"
