Kungfu Hustle is a masterpiece full of what I call "Tom & Jerry physics", like on this screenshot from the same chasing scene. The hyper-running is very funny to see there too, and I think it belongs to same set of tricks & references to these animated series genre.

It is interesting to see how #TaiChi & #TaiJiQuan cultural influence goes beyond "common" spots such as #KungFu action or fantasy movies. In the #StarTrek universe there is moQbara - the Klingon #martialArt inspired by Taijiquan.
