Today's a big day for gaming anniversaries! Two I'm celebrating are Donkey Kong Country 2's and the Nintendo DS's. One's my second favorite game of all-time; the other's possibly my favorite Nintendo handheld. I don't have any articles to honor either, sadly, but I hope to write about 'em soon.

Anyhoo, this grown man's new 500 dollar toy arrived earlier today. Alas, I did not get to play with it and likely won't for several more days.

Today I learned that Sonic Rush director Akinori Nishiyama "intended for Blaze's world to be the world of the Special Stages from the previous 2D Sonic games."
Kinda wish that panned out; I'd like to see more of that dimension. I'd especially love to explore Sonic CD's.
