This ruling is a huge win for Planned Parenthood of Montana and everyone who supported the organization’s challenge to these laws. Together, we protected essential health care.

Our advocacy staff showed up big time in ID, MT, and WA this legislative session — facing down anti-trans and anti-abortion attacks, navigating budget constraints, and even scoring some major wins.

GOOD NEWS: Today, Gov. Ferguson signed into law the Dignity in Pregnancy Loss Act (SSB 5093).
This bill will ensure Washingtonians are not investigated or criminalized for their pregnancy losses.
Kudos to Pro Choice Washington, @legalvoice.org, and everyone who advocated to pass this policy.

Together with the ALCU and ACLU of Montana, we filed a lawsuit last Thursday that challenges Montana’s anti-trans bathroom ban. Today, a state court issued an emergency order that temporarily blocks the state from enforcing the law.
