The first proposed outcome in our consultation on professional ethics relates to education and training. We’re proposing that regulators should work with education and training providers to set high standards on professional ethical duties. The consultation can be found here: bit.ly/49iuPYY

We’ve launched a public consultation on the role of regulators in strengthening professional ethics among lawyers in England and Wales. The consultation focuses on proposed outcomes for legal services regulators. It will run until 29 May 2025, and can be found here: bit.ly/49iuPYY

Richard Orpin, has just announced the LSB’s consultation on the role of regulators in strengthening professional ethics among lawyers in England and Wales, focussing on five proposed outcomes for regulators to meet in ensuring lawyers fully understand & uphold their ethical duties.
