i started practicing drawing on 2 months ago on sept 10 and i decided to go back to basics, use my first reference again, see if i've improved.
admittedly, we're comparing ~50 minutes of work to 15 buuut still.

primordial soup, this idea came to me in bed the other day.
probably the most derivative artstyle i've used yet but i dont despise the end result (yes the proportions are a bit fucky but i got started 2 months ago and that excuses every mistake i have ever made afaik.)

on that note; just gonna quietly drop two whatevers i made a few days ago when i realized i had been awake for 20 hours. cant wait until these haunt me a few months/years down the line.
