FYI, Minnesota Power up north may be different, the majority of its customers are large industrial, and I've not followed their rate cases. I guess I need to!!!

I got into the AUAR for the Cannon Falls one, and commented at last month's EQB meeting about how data center developers/cities are misusing the AUAR process to avoid an EIS (that could put major damper on these projects). EQB is aware, but slow to act.

Nope, that's future, and uncertain. Rates are paying for what's been spent, what's been built. The data center folks haven't got this figured out yet, that like the wind projects proposed, some will be built, some won't, and at this point, most everything's up in the air.

It's what I do, and I'm infuriated with the 10 new BIG transmission lines coming our way.

Electric rate increase is based on billions of unnecessary transmission lines built & permitted. "Tanking renewable energy sources, AI, and isolationist policies," though awful, have not yet landed to affect rates. Watch MISO Tranche 2, $21.4 BILLION, in MN 345 & now 765kV transmission lines!

Don't forget we have self-declared America First state legislators here in Dist. 20, Sen. Drazkowsky & Rep. Altendorf, also Dist. 21, Marj Fogelman has also claimed that allegiance. This has been simmering for too long, and most are not even aware of what "America First" means.
