I foolishly decided to watch this late at night and found it very difficult to stay awake through. I respect it for its influence on horror but would lose no sleep if I never saw it again.

I found it very meh but should revisit it, the VHS copy I watched on SHUDDER made it feel dull. Even Michael Ironside couldn’t spice it up. I loved Diana Prince’s cosplay as Mary Lou.

I watched this as a kid and didn’t care that Jason was absent, it was a decent slasher. It’s one of my most watched entries now. A sleazy good time… The mother and son are annoying as shit though.
