Venezuela will be run alright, but not by Trump, the oil oligarchs would never let him near "their" oil.
January 3, 2026 at 5:11 PM
... 24 hrs later, Corporate America, ever present, reared its head & invaded a nation to "reclaim" their naturalized oil reserves, the largest in the world, as payment for GOP campaign contributions. Will Corporate Media replay Trump's plea in '24 to oil oligarchs, promising to make them richer?

When has "Law enforcement" included military assets or deposing of an elected foreign head of state? The depths of our collective stupidity, abetted by Corporate Media justifying this, has yet to reach bottom. Drugs don't come from Venezuela, oil does. Want to reduce drug usage, fight poverty.

Paying back Big Oil for their contribution. He did say he'd make them richer.

Forever in my profile, but I believe even Molly would have a hard time finding humor in Trump, GW yes, a fellow Texan but had a true hero for a father, even though he too was a horrible president, as all Republicans are genetically determined to be.

Unfortunately, these do not have a long shelf life in the public's mind b\]c Corporate Media moves on or gives alternate takes to his screw-ups. Just watch how the GOP (& Media giving it life) is jumping on the fraud in Minnesota as a way to distract from Trump's vile criminality. We are so eff'd!

In Roberts' yearend report on the court, not once did he mention the Shadow Docket, the one that gave Trump wins 80% of the time. Not once did he mention Presidential Immunity, a decision outranking Dred Scott & Citizens United as the WORST SC decision. May this forever blacken Roberts' legacy.

Just wish Smith would've stayed on & made Trump fire him.

Dem. Docket, BTC, Meidas Touch, TYT, Democracy Now, Ralph Nader Radio Hr., all reliable, all proven, all independent, all trustworthy sources of analyses vs. a promise from Dokoupil, who, btw, would never make that "promise" w\o 1st CBS saying go.
To Dokoupil, "Come back in 1 yr. & we'll talk."

Evolution, like history, moves on a continuum. Fluxes, though expected, may not be organic change. React to trends, not confined by them or risk opportunity for real change. 2 expected ?'s: are stated declines trends linked to internet usage? Trump is the worst, to date. Will he be the worst?

Again, agree. I've always believed though there are too many shortcomings with the current Democrat Party, their actions never emanated from meanness as do Republicans'. Biden had an opportunity to act upon this issue through his SOD Austin's Review Panel, but did not.

Agree & it's why I mentioned "current", implying where we are currently on our evolutionary journey as humanoids, possessing our greatest reasoning ability to date yet using it unnaturally & counterintuitively.

Much of the decimation, by gov't policy, of Native Tribes took place under the presidency of U.S. Grant. To date, there's just no way for a just atonement & this is why public education is so critical to any nation's collective & shared history. Are we secure enough to teach truth? No, we're not.

There will always be conflict in the human condition, personal, interpersonal, local, nationally, globally, but what is the point of being the current end result of evolution if humans employ death as a go to conflict-resolution? The whole point of evolution is to survive, killing is unnatural.

Hey Katie, here's a factual dot to connect, why do all the financial recessions happen while Republicans are in power?
December 29, 2025 at 3:11 PM
If one recognizes the foundation of the U.S. economy is transactional via commoditizing all things, animate & inanimate, then paying for one's wellbeing fits. The counterbalance to this inhumane system was to be a representative democracy, but unfortunately, that too has a dollar price.

Why lawyers tell their clients to shut-up & wann'a bet, every lawyer representing Trump gets paid 1st?

"Until you make me, I'm going to lie."

I always start with the premise anything the GOP does is in the interest of Corporations. These actions can take the form of deregulation, reducing tax obligations, cutting holes in social policy & programs & reducing representation. DOGE did exactly what it was intended to do, provided legal cover.
