The closest Teal gets to this form in canon is when fighting Metal Legacy.
It never activated because Whisper was still there.

If you could guess, in the Diamond Spark timeline, Teal and Whisper have a connection.
But no more yapping.

Because the only person who cared about him for so long is.

This form is held back by Whisper remaining alive. Remaining there for Teal.
Despite Teal being an anomaly, he still feels. Even more so, in fact.

The form itself makes Teal… well… die. The monster that once was Teal is now sadistic, finding enjoyment in causing harm to the reality that rejected them. For taking away the one person who accepted them and cared about them when the world pushed them away, labeled them as too dangerous…

Might change the design a bit later.
The spiral eyes are a refer to Evil Super Sonic from the Fleetway comics, as well at the dark state itself being a reference to Dark Sonic in Sonic X.
This would be a permanent form change, so he never CANONICALLY uses it. It requires conditions that aren’t met.

On a scale of 1-10 on the cooking scale… I’d say about 9, maybe 50.

That’s fairly understandable. Life gets to a point where it’s sometimes hard to wake up in the morning.
