Been quiet on here for a bit and if I'm honest, had gotten a little discouraged by how the season (for both teams) had been going. What a game today!! This is the Lucy Olsen we've needed, and I loved how confident and decisive Adi was in crunch time. THIS GAME FELT LIKE OLD TIMES!! Go Hawks!! 🖤💛

Probably the best (most complete) game the Hawks have played all year. When they can bring this kind of DEFENSIVE energy and their shots are falling at such a high clip, I don't know how they can be stopped. Quite the turn around after last Friday's low in Madison. Go Hawks!! 🖤💛

If I'm being completely honest, it felt like this game (and season) was starting to go off the rails at one point in the 2nd half. Credit to this team for getting up off the mat and willing themselves to a victory tonight. Two Big Ten home game nail-biters...but two W"s nonetheless. Go Hawks!! 🖤💛

Excited for Lisa that she will be recognized at halftime of today's game. Not only was she the coach of so many great Hawkeye teams - but her impact on countless individuals and women's college basketball as a whole will be felt for years to come! Kudos to you, Coach Bluder!! 🖤💛

Hawks were in a bit of a tussle for the first three quarters but seemed to save their best for crunch time - when one big push was able to ice the game away. Great shooting by McCabe and O'Grady to lead a balanced attack. Go Hawks!! 🖤💛

Loved the fight in this team, even when Iowa St. got a bit of a lead in the 2nd half. Many great performances tonight, but was really happy for Syd to see her play like we know she's capable of. It's a HAWKEYE STATE everybody!! 🖤💛

1st half was a beauty. 2nd half got ugly, then turned into a dog fight. Was actually pleased to see players taking the ball to the hoop (for some and one's) rather than settle for deep 3's late. We shall refer to this game moving forward as the JOSH DIX game! Never a doubt, right? :) Go Hawks!! 🖤💛

Boy, was Addi O'Grady clutch when we needed some steady scoring down the stretch. Wasn't pretty, but with the news of Lucy's injury tonight (hopefully not too serious 🤞), a hard fought win was likely to be expected. Go Hawks!! 🖤💛
