Batman and Robin #16 is a solid 9/10
Art, pacing, storytelling are all very solid and these two panels are the highlight of the issue for me.
Damian is at the point where he needs to figure out what he wants to do and frankly if Damian does quit I won't be mad because there is more than one way-

But these are my favourite panels of the issue, and the one where he called Bruce "THE world's greatest detective" always disliked that "one of the" 😒. So far, proper Dickie characterization and the pacing is very good. Next issues will be fun.

Dan Watters already had my attention, but now he has more of it. Take a bow, Dan. This is soooooo good. Stakes are appearing and looks like we might have proper bludhaven on our hands and I do hope Dickie gets to keep his villains and antagonists.

Power fantasy is so good.
It's actually so good.
Ignoring the stellar writing all 4 issues have had, the pacing, the characters, this book has a way of making you actually dread the superpowers fighting. Unlike marvel and DC where 90% of the time you see "oh the world is coming to an end" -

This has to be one book I was actually mad at because you see this cover and expect an epic team up instead all we got was thanos gloating. 😭 like come on I was looking forward to see Beta Ray Bill kick ass.

This to me is the highlight of the issue... when I saw talks of "Damian doesn't wanna be Robin anymore/considering if he should be" I was thinking it'd be going the route of "What we do, does it matter?" Similar to how Stephanie was asking in Tynion's Detective comic run why they're suiting -

Just read #15 of Batman and Robin and I just wanna say PKJ has my attention now. And i 100000% percent enjoyed this issue more than the earlier issue.
