They intend to summon a mystical creature known as The Wishing Star in the hopes of getting a wish. They hope to save themselves from the mysterious monsters of the woods known as The Sel.

For my assignment I decided to illustrate the first 8 pages of a graphic novel concept I have called The Wishing Star. It follows two friends, Lonna and Wermlin, who are gathering supplies for a ritual.

Otis is heavily inspired by the movie Malignant in terms that his brother Gil is also an angsty parasitic twin adamant on getting freedom. (I'm a huge fan of Malignant I'm sorry)
