Chengdu to Chongqing
Good on the way there. Big windows. On the way back I was seated next to a man with terrible breath that I could smell whenever he opened his mouth. This was fine for the first half but at the end he started making phone calls

Hz to ningbo
Great. Had lots of fun the whole way. Beautiful scenery. Way back was fun too

HZ to Shanghai
Great train. Many people smoking on the train but lots of people from around the country. Big windows. Way back took high speed. Faster but small windows

Hangzhou to Jiaxing
A strange trip. I ate the food on the cart but it was expensive and bad. Just steamed cabbage and rice from 18 rmb. No flavor. I took the train back to HZ too and that was fun. Good train though.

Then Daejeon to Gyeongju. We stopped in Daegu to change trains midway and the second half was much more fun. My mom and I had seats far apart on both trains but the second train was slower and older with big windows

Then I took a train from Changchun to Beijing. Not too bad. Don’t remember much. Studied for some of it

Then I took high speed train from Beijing to Siping. It was nice. Comfortable. The security seemed a lot less than it is now. The guy across the aisle from me asked me questions for most of the trip. I didn’t enjoy the experience as much because the windows were too small. I love the speedometer tho

I didn’t take a train for a while after that. The next train I took was a historic train near Minneapolis in fall. Beautiful. I remember it very well but I can’t adequately describe it.

I remember very little from this trip aside from playing with new toys on the floor of the train with another kid. I also remember the sleeper cars but it’s very foggy. Maybe I also remember the lights around Chicago outside of the train at night or maybe not
