im definitely not old enough to have been aware of when this happened, but its actually kinda funny only being able to read accounts and 1st hand experiences about it like I'm a WWII historian.

in fact, they dont even wanna find a cheaper way to dig cause then you wont buy their gold so instead they insist that they are rhe only ones who can dig because you can only use expensive excavators to dig for gold

would the better way to dig gold not be to just find a easier (cheaper) way to dig? and then the 5 people on the market selling you their gold insist that you need this gold to exist in the future of society while making no efforts to aloow for more diggers

"if you're in a gold rush start selling spades" is a stupid fucking notion when the spade sellers actually sell super expensive excavators and are the ones telling you that you need to dig more with their brand new slightly different excavator. cause it was designed to dig gold better

AND then there are the non made up consequence that are also completely predictable and completely avoidable. how the fuck is it sustainable to create a product that ... generates images of anything at the cost of a households daily expenses is this not crazy am i overreacting maybe i dont get it
