Looks like this was planned for a while. Patel had to get people 'out of the way' who would figure out everything. This was a professional hit.Rump wanted to silence Kirk and makee him a martyr. Kirk was one of the voices on the right asking the Epstein files released. Kirk fell into Rumps disfavor.
