Greenteeth by Molly O’Neill – Review
While I have devoured several other books with monstrous protagonists, Greenteeth by Molly O'Neill is the monster-narrated story I never realized I was missing. Similar in spirit to Medusa by Nataly Gruender and Night Hunt by Alexandra Christo, Greenteeth stands out for its dynamic character relationships and its layered, compelling journey toward self-discovery. The novel follows Jenny Greenteeth, a fearsome water spirit from English folklore, and Temperance Crump, a hedge witch who is discounting of her own power.
