Used to see them from my old balcony (which I can see in the aerial (2nd) photo!)

Eyes to the skies, Alberta!

Son’s pics from Banff about 20 minutes ago. (This too I miss). Should get stronger within the hour. Severe solar storms across Canada tonight, so, for those without clouds, should be a nice show!

Much as I hated daylight savings in AB (especially springing forward, back to dark mornings), I hate the end of it here even more.
Keep standard time year round in AB, daylight savings here. Just STOP switching & messing with my psyche.

Cranky enough as it is without more reasons to be. 🙃😉

Noteworthy ‘’goosebump moments’’: Supper’s Ready, Firth of Fifth, Los Endos.
Had me longing for trippy lighted basements that smelled of weed & patchouli on hot summer nights that were made for making out with your friend’s older brother… but I digress (thinking out loud again).

This was definitely a crowd of longtime fans, lively, vocal, rising to clap, sing, & holler! You can’t get more ’Montreal’ than being at a Prog show, with encore chanting that breaks into ‘Olé Olé Olé Olé’ as cells flashed news of Habs 1st win of the season! 😂 J’ADORE MONTRÉAL!!! 🎶💙🤍❤️🎶

As to the ratio of women to men, the attached pic tells the story, as did the lineup for the men’s washroom, snaking all the way back up into the lobby. The women’s washroom had no lines, even empty stalls! (A first for me!) Wasn’t quite that disproportionate ‘’back in my day’’.

Montreal really has the best fans, whether you’re at a concert or hockey game! Thursday night, Steve Hacket packed PDA with a substantial male-to-female ratio of diehard fans, many in the prime of their geriatric years (*ducks the flying knee braces & canes*). I felt like a 61 year ol’ yungin! 😉

Sad today & missing my father.
Thanks to my dad, my love for hockey & 2 favourite players runs deep. Never missed watching a game with him. Though we admired many others, none like Jean Béliveau & Ken Dryden. Honoured to have met both and witnessing Dryden’s unmatched talent live many times. 💔 RIP

Quality (old phone) not great & I’m lousy cameraman but have a few of these I took that night.
