FCS is still FCS, not FBS (even G-5), and a team’s record is what it is, not what it was years ago (and Oregon St has never been nationally relevant). And playing these cupcakes in September when other teams are playing teams that were and still are in the Top 25 doesn’t make them any less cupcakes

I think the biggest problem is that there are too few people today willing to have “a civil conversation”, where people of different views are willing to talk to each other with minds open to listening to and possibly accepting other points of view…it’s all brick walls now

And limit the number of advertisers and ads per user so that ads are no more than 5% of the posts seen per user (1 ad per 20 posts).

First, have reasonable and clear standards on posts. Second, if it becomes necessary to sell advertising in order to survive (and I’m not advocating this route), allow users to opt out of a limited number of categories of ads, and to opt out of of ads for services they already use.

As a UGA alum, of course Walker; not mad about any, especially since we only had 5 picks

I think grading draft classes at this point is useless, and more so when they admittedly downgrade the Falcons grade for what they gave up in the Pearce trade (who, along with Walker, is in the ESPN top 10 for DROY), but don’t do the same for other teams…

Helping the person avoid the courtroom when leaving the courtroom in my opinion does violate the rule of law, and the laws she took an oath to uphold. There may be more that I don’t know; this is just based on my limited knowledge from sources that aren’t known to be Admin friendly.

And that she actively and knowingly helped that person leave the court through a door not available for public use, that is a criminal violation for which she knew she could be arrested. Requiring officers to stay outside the courtroom is one thing;

However, the more I learn about the arrest of the Wisconsin judge, the less I think it’s a part of that concern. Judges have to follow the rule of law too. And if what I read is true, that she knew that officers were waiting outside the door of the courtroom to arrest someone in the court

Not even close; not even the worst trade in Falcons history…that was the massive draft haul that was sent to the Colts for Jeff George. The worst trade in NFL history was the 11 draft picks the Vikings sent the Cowboys for Herschel Walker. All that happened here was using next years 1 now…

Look at it this way: Falcons cashed in the 1st a year early (like people who dip into their retirement early) and, unlike Jax, didn’t have to include this years 1st in the deal….

Found it interesting that the Worldwide Leader described his pro comparison as Jessie Bates…

I agree, although I’m not sure what centers wouldn’t be reaches when the Birds select in the 4th; maybe McLaughlin from OSU?
April 26, 2025 at 12:52 PM
Why not look at it this way: the Falcons cashed in their 2026 1st a year early, like someone who dips into their retirement early? After all, they did use it on a 1st, and unlike Jax, they didn’t have to also give up this years 1st to get there… and it’s where they valued him that counts….

As a Falcon fan since the team was an expansion franchise, I just knew they were going to mess up this gift (after all, they have a long history of not drafting Dawgs when they have the chance and never drafted one in the 1st round)….but for once they didn’t!
