Married 52 years (I was 3 when I married - a child bride 😉) with 3 beautiful grown daughters and 8 grandkids. Retired federal employee of over 42 years. Enjoying the retired life, Women’s Ministry leader at my church; planning more for 2025!
What’s that story about actions affecting others but not you; then one day it did come to you? Well, it’s here!

Enjoyed my walk with this Girl Trek group in Antioch/Brentwood when I was visiting my friend Debra a couple weeks ago. I loved how we started out in a circle holding hands and praying 🙏🏽

Got this new homemade badge. I took a picture as we decided to keep them at the church - just in case we lose them at home. Now I’m legit 😂

Had this lamb hot soup the other day at Tasty Pot & Taste of Asia. It was so hot so waited for it to cool down. Then I noticed it was bubbling - there was a flame 🔥 underneath which my waitress put out for me plus it was spicy 🌶️ hot. I sneezed a few times 😂🤣

Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

Wow. Caroline Kennedy breaks her silence on RFK Jr in a message to Senators: “We grew up together. It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets because Bobby himself is a predator. He enjoyed showing off by putting baby chickens & mice in a blender to feed to his hawks.”

A slang word from our culture that draws meaning from empathy is “woke.” A person who is woke is : “aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues (especially issues of racial and social justice). —Merriam-Webster

Everyday my purpose and mission is to be “woke.”

Hey, while we're talking about erasing history:

In 1949 the US military held its first Aeriel Gunnery Competition, later known as "Top Gun."

The best of the best competed in dogfighting and other skills. The team that won, was the 332nd: The Tuskegee airmen.

So they refused to announce a winner🤡
