For the first time I’m now in the Ange out camp. Minus Deki, this is the strongest set of players he’s had to choose from, so no hiding from that excuse. If Chelski had even been any good, I could maybe accept it more. But even if we salvage something tonight, it’s not enough for me #COYS

Huge night for the boys, Madders & Son stepped up and that allowed the younger players to play with freedom. Great games for Bergvall, Dom & Wilson and we got a rare outing for Archie in midfield!

This is where Madders frustrates me, offers nothing when we haven’t got the ball and doesn’t give a good enough outlet when we are under pressure. But he’s got a goal and an assist today so it papers over those cracks #COYS

Madders has started well, is being offered the freedom with Bentancur & Bergvall in there which suits him. It does look like when we defend we drop into a 4-4-2 shape with Madders alongside Richie. Who would have thought Ange was flexible with the way we line up 😂 #COYS

I just don’t see how people still rave and rate James Maddison! He has flashes, but he goes missing, holds the ball too long, weak in the challenge, lacks pace, doesn’t lead, jogs around and leaves his young colleagues out to dry week in week out #COYS

It has to be time for some freshness on the pitch and get some minutes into people’s legs. Sonny & Madders for Moore and either Yang or Ajayi

There are a lot of HT thoughts! Quite easy to go on an angry rant and channel my inner X, put simply, it is not good enough from both players and manager. It was evident after 10 minutes that this formation leaves us way more open than we’ve ever been and key areas we are overwhelmed #COYS
