Picked one of these up at Big Apple Comic Con over the weekend. Been looking for a few years and it’s a perfect excuse to reread this masterpiece.

There is a collection of a sampling of his Golden Age works compiled by Steven Brower and published by Fantagraphics, as well as a biography by Brower, but much of the work is absent because DC rarely allows their material to be collected in these art histories at Fanta.

I’m not convinced I’d want current Milligan to tackle anything I like, but I do think it would have been cool to see him attempt some Dr. Fate during his prime years.
