The Premier League warned us that was the provisional plan last Friday lunchtime.
The only team that would not have had their GW29 fixture brought forward if they got to the final was Newcastle - because they’re not in Europe.

Difficult window to do business in, but a big summer is planned… we’re saving up for Jude… we have 2 left backs… the dog ate our fax machine. 😌

He’s going home, I expect he pleaded to be involved.

Wood or Rogers - whomever I decide to bench is going to punish me.

Because 85% of refs are crap and from Manchester

We had a season of constant injury crisis - we played Morecombe’s current centre half alongside Nat Phillips.

Liverpool had tonnes of injuries and burnt out players - most had spells playing in defence.

Mo Salah scored 31 goals and that lead Liverpool to an unlikely 3rd place finish.

5 for Trent is very generous. I’d have given him a point for turning up on time, and a point for wearing the right kit.

2 is a fair score.

Slot lied, he said Trent would be playing today.

If I thought for one second Virg might need some help with that. . . haha

Whatever happened to the popular front?

… He’s over there
December 11, 2024 at 8:13 PM
We’d pay the transfer fee and then offer him £100kpw
December 10, 2024 at 7:48 PM
Hold, as I can’t get to Trent easily… I wouldn’t know where else to go. If in doubt, do nowt.

Palmer (c), but something from Enzo Fernandez would be nice - he’s got to replace Salah’s points for one week.
December 8, 2024 at 10:38 AM
He’s just a 7 season wonder, he’ll never keep it up.
December 2, 2024 at 1:57 PM
If you consider the club Klopp walked in to, the trophies he won and the quality/age profile of the squad he left - it was the best and most unselfish reign in modern history imho.

The Tories made us forget what ‘accountability’ really means.

This feels like it really - it’s a return to standards we haven’t seen in government for too long.

Trent & Michael are different people: many weren’t that keen on Owen even before he moved to Madrid. He often said things that put fans off. Declaring he would fight to be fit for an England qualifier in March when he got injured in October.
It never felt like he was ours.
Trent is not that guy.

I knew I had to get rid after GW9. 1 goal, no bonus and I was miffed. £15m and that is all I get against a promoted club?

I realised then he’d need to score 76 goals a season to stop me feeling ripped off.

He was gone that day; no regrets.

Nothing major in the pipeline, I might bring in a 5m or less defender to strengthen my squad & then save some transfers up for Christmas.

Now I’ve said that a series of random events will force me into a -8 by Friday lunchtime.

He’s just a 7 season wonder, he’ll never keep this up.
November 24, 2024 at 3:53 PM
Haha, all of my midfielders are on that list. Whilst the midfielder I plan to bring in is on that list too
November 23, 2024 at 11:20 AM
In Klopp’s system he was the best defender to own, you never felt far from a haul.

In Slot’s system he’s playing like Gary Neville :(

If your 3 best/most influential players are in this situation -all at the same time- you have made a huge mistake.

FSG have time to turn it around, but they never seem to go a season without making a huge mistake.

I’ve slowly come to the conclusion that they’re not bothered enough to learn lessons

I want to add Isak to go alongside Jackson. But I’ve only got 1 transfer and more flags than the Glastonbury festival… I just hope I have a plan after the Friday pressers.

Alisson Becker is the best keeper in the world.
Whilst others make breath-taking saves he makes it look effortless because his positioning and footwork are levels above. His distribution is the best, he commands his area and he even scores vital goals.
