So this was odd, fun but maybe sad too? Went out to dinner and the special came with a dozen eggs to go home with.

Donated blood just now - for years I couldn't, my blood pressure was too low (!!). A side benefit to aging I suppose, now it works great.

Sunsets are still a moment of beauty

I used to think the PNW couldn't compete with my hometown (back east) as far as fall colors. It's a beautiful fall here this year, good time for comforting walks around the city. The tall yellow-leaved tree is a tulip poplar - has cup-like flowers in the summer that almost look like tulips.
