Went to York v Wealdstone today. Never seen clobber like it from the Stones manager. Looked like he’d been shooting a JLS music video. Got spanked 4-0, too.

The Lambs were slaughtered by the Minstermen tonight via four second half goals. Tommy Tonks waddling round the pitch trying to keep up with the York midfield was a joy to behold. 😂

Yeah, I think it looks absolutely great. Would love us to do something similar, although without that awful collar they did.

After the last 7 days, will absolutely take that. Plenty of positives; back 4 hardly put a foot wrong, big performances from Gruev, Stach and Longstaff and DCL and Nmecha look exactly what we’ve needed for 2 years. 3 days to add some stardust now …. ? #lufc

Today we went to see how Joe Rothwell was getting on since #lufc. I’m pleased to report his hair still looks luscious & his passing & scampering forward is still Rothwellian. It was all very laboured & disjointed, though, & Martin looks to have a real job on his hands to win over the home crowd.

Had a kick about today on what has to be one of the most picturesque pitches in the UK. Magic.
(It’s the pitch on the Guinness advert. Though it turns out they’d used hell of a lot of artistic license with the setting!).

Tried to locate some eagles today. We did, but they were too far aware to confirm if they were golden or white tailed. Marvellous walk regardless.
