2. My second take-away: America is in trouble. What do we do when we have a totally incompetent and inept President and V-P? Especially when we have a Congress that is under the control of the President, and a Cabinet stacked with loyalists that will never invoke the 25th amendment.

Oh I ❤️❤️❤️ these guys and gals. When we lived in the SF Bay area they were all over the Santa Cruz Mtns. We had a redwood tree in our backyard with a family living around it. Even stumbled across a nusery full of eggs once. Lucky you!

She has a good point, there are people we need that are listening to Trump, think Musk is a genius, and are confused. Dems need to stop calling Trump names, holding indignant pressers, and start talking about real kitchen table problems. (But still do everything they're doing now - lawsuits etc.)

Haven't watched, but my wife did and said she thought they would sound sane and appeal to independent voters. She is very concerned Trump/Musk/GOP are using Fox to sane-wash all the Project-2025 nonsense going down.

*We* know what's going on, but Trump et al will use Fox etc./. to confuse. :-/

I like the lawsuit idea, but the idea of boycotting the Oval Office/WH Briefing Room/Air Force One is a non-starter. Trump/Musk/GOP mouthpieces will then be the only channel for information. A dilemma I don;t have solution to.

Costco membership - same, I support businesses that treat their workers well.

Retired after 45+ years in tech (Intel, HP, GM, numerous start-ups). Musk's Padwans will "move fast and break things." As competent, experienced stewards of that data and processes are forced out, we will suffer real injury, and unfortunately in some cases, death. :-/
