The crosswalk had been re-rainbowed with sidewalk chalk by midafternoon. I’m sure the late afternoon storm washed it away, but I’m confident it will return. (Time to check the garage sidewalk chalk supply)

I hardly think the brain tumor that destroyed most of my pituitary’s hormone function was a “lifestyle choice.” No amount of synthetic hormones, diet or exercise could overcome the permanent damage to my metabolism. Ozempic got me past that hurdle.

Thank you to your grandson for being there to provide help, when it was so needed.

Yikes. I ended up in the hospital last December with internal bleeding from a rare food poisoning. It’s usually found in things I don’t consume, so the doctor’s best guess was cross-contamination on leafy greens. Food safety is no place to cut corners.

Love Jason and his accent. Also love Parker but I keep thinking her accent is more northern Mississippi (where she’s from) vs. NC.

Excellent interview on MSNBC. Proud to be one of your constituents!

Several are leaving, including Maxwell Frost. The cameras aren’t capturing it (of course). But Trump sees them heading out one by one.

We do have progressives walking out - the cameras aren’t showing it but Trump sure sees it.

I’ve largely been letting my 401k run wild with an “aggressive” strategy. But I’m within a decade of retirement (hopefully). So today I used the analysis tool on the 401k site to choose a more balanced asset mix. Not cashing out by any means but definitely putting up some deflector shields.

Similarly, I ask the MRI tech to fire up a Thievery Corporation channel/playlist because it yields a good mix. I also used that strategy when going through proton radiation treatment.

That is insane.

Or have the flu… or working today… or caring for their kids who are out of school…

On day four of the flu and day three of Tamiflu. Finally able to function (a little). Even with the vaccine, this is the sickest I’ve ever felt - even worse than when I was going through radiation treatment. This flu season is no joke.

Oy. Now that gem of a song is stuck in my head.

Ah yes… the one place where encountering a troll isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

This is the weather that makes me appreciate living in Orlando. (That and being a blue dot in the state.)

That’s my Congressman!

Those poor dogs.

Nauseating. I couldn’t change the channel fast enough. But hey, at least that gave me the chance to see Deals and Steals on Good Morning America…
