10 years ago I definitely would have gone to Allston on a Wednesday to see a random band I found on the internet. I do wish I had the time and energy to stay tuned in to the local music scene here, I know there's a lot of cool stuff happening.

We certainly can't target the general population that the shooter comes from, because if we go after Afghan immigrants over this shooting, we have to go after right-wing white men over every other shooting we've had in this country. That's the only conclusion I can come to anyway.

My honest question, when I heard about this shooting, is how is this any different than any school shooting we've had? It's sad, it's tragic, but what can we do about it? It was a "lone wolf", and we can't pass gun control, or improve mental health care, because of it.
