It's starting to get a bit chilly, and I can see the first signs of autumn in the trees. I love how the low light at this time of year makes the colours stand out and creates beautiful shadows, even on something as ordinary as an old gate.

This plant, though I'm not certain whether it's a creeper or a climber, rapidly scales the walls, covering the brickwork in just a few days before dying back in autumn. This year, we've let it grow a little higher. If left unchecked, I think it could easily cover the entire house.
