I’ve met a number of Business degree folks/MBAs who boldly assert that their training and understanding translates to almost any field and firmly believe that they can go toe to toe with actual topic experts. Just shows what a poor business degree is enabling.

Community seems to be pretty united on changes being needed, lots of public commentary on it, etc. (including original author) Several legacy creators have stated they’re moving to premodern until/unless WotC does something more than nothing. Seems like frustration is boiling over.

I saw a video clip this morning discussing what the opposite of DEI is (from Mayor Pete). It drove home what folks wanting to remove DEI are actually after. The opposite of diversity is uniformity. The opposite of equity is inequity. The opposite of inclusion is exclusion. Explains a lot.

All of academentia is in the same boat. I’ve seen two or three seminars floated from various departments since the winter break.
