On VE day I want to remember the uncle I never met. This is Trooper Thomas Smith. He was killed fighting fascists in Italy on 3rd August 1944. He was 24. Now fascist scum control his county council. Looks like he died for nothing.

There is a lot of scenery like this in the West of Scotland but the weather is very unreliable 😉. We were there in July and it was 12C.
