I'm trying to work out why the Texas floods and severe loss of life, young life at that, is receiving very little coverage. The NWS predicted the storm but FEMA did not front run it due to Noems approval for the expenditure required not coming in a timely manner. 110 dead, 160 still missing?? WTF.

China didn't build those factories that took American jobs. American corporations did. Capital is mobile, labour isn't and they took advantage of low wage rates. American workers paid the price. Now American consumers will pay the price. Corporations and Billionaires are not limited by borders.

So the Preident of the United States is more concerned about the welfare of the Tate brothers, accused of rape, people trafficking and fraud, than the population of Ukraine. Have I got that right?

I hope Trumps threats to expel Palestinians don't lead to terrorist attacks on US assets. There will not be a 'coalition of the willing'.

If the minimum wage was tied to average CEO salary all Americans would be better off.

Do you think potential non-white, non-christian immigrants are reconsidering their applications to migrate to the US?

Who would have thought that MLK would be celebrated, Trump would be inaugurated, and the Union forged by the founding fathers, upheld by Lincoln, maintained by 45 President's, would be ended on the same day.

Been 2 months now but I still can't get my head around 2/3 of the population in the world's pre eminent democracy voting to never have to vote again!

All of these billionaires bending the knee to Trump and Musk would do well to remember who put them there in the first place. We made them - we can break them.

I just read where immigrant Musk is suggesting consumer protection department be abolished (Tesla build quality?). But while they're busy asking how we can cut this, do away with that etc. Shouldn't the real question be ' why was it put there in the 1st place, what, if anything, has changed?'
