The TV series is both a very close follow to a lot of how the first book (so far) played out yet so damned short that a lot of the story is missing. It's maddening because it brings the first book to life but so truncated story-wise.

For sure, it can be fun and feel good but it really depends on the surface that you are running on. I've been on some trails that get slippery when they get wet, and railtrail bridges that are wooden oh tarmc on some steep hills that get pretty dicey when wet.

How is that going to look and how specific will the US regions be?
We have a local hashtag for our county in NY (#jeffcobiking or #jeffconybiking) right now, but it would be great if there were something a little more inclusive of the larger area.

Not sure about the definition of pedal-bike purist. I like a nice road bike that I pedal fully under my own power, I train hard and I ride hard. But I have nothing against e-bikes when ridden responsibly. We really need to get away from this us against them attitude, we're all in this together.

I was amazed last year that my older friend, who rides 23's, was experimenting with putting in much lower pressures and claimed to not have had a pinchflat.

Yea, I'm an overinflator. I try not to be but then I do, it's helped getting a battery-powered pump with an accurate digital gauge but it's a mindset, I think from coming from the old days when if you didn't put enough air in you were going to get a pinchflat.

Me too - after a quick glance I assumed an elaborate Victorian-style top-knot.

Oh it wasn't the case I was referring to - you have an "i" instead of a "u" in the url.
So it points to trimpfile.org instead of trumpfile.org ;)
trimpfile.org

I think you mistyped, that should be 'trumpfile.org' I believe.

I think this is a brilliant idea.
We need a party who's "Party Line" is common sense rather than left or right policies. I'd get behind that as an independent.

Just 45, front and back. Good for some aero advantage but around here we have constant winds so I compromised a bit. I still occasionally get thrown around a bit on really windy days.

Oops, earlier shot BEFORE I stalled aero wheels.

For sure. It's like a never-ending SNL sketch, or when they make an entire movie out of the dumbest 2 minute comedic sketch...
