My struggle that keeps me from being a gold star leftist is I fundamentally disagree with incarceration, but I dont see what form of rehabilitative or restorative justice would be satisfactory to me for some of these kinda people.

Another note is that VR interactions have so little barrier to entry once established. There's no cost of commuting, dressing up appropriately, or geographical distance.

The nature of VR allows us to foster these much more effective and natural ways of building rapport and connection with each other, without the concern (for most) about ruin, as one can always ripcord out. The only real threat is social ruin, and one that only extends to a % of most peoples social.

More intimate, like those seen in VR, if there wasn't centuries of wisdom gained about how vulnerable to serious abuse doing so is. The threat of physical violence and the loss of stability from financial or social ruin has made IRL interactions have certain safeguards and patterns of thought. 3/?

As others mentioned, its a normal process to improve rapport in business relationships with going out to eat and such favors, but the ultimate goal is to make that human impression and connection, to then have a chance of being favored. I believe it would be normal for these interactions to be.. 2/?

I dont like the monetary implications behind the usage of "currency". All human interactions involve building and leveraging connection, but the act of doing creates more than just a discrete transaction where $ and/or social capital are exchanged on a 1 for 1 basis. 1/?
