Opinions are mine…
It’s been 0 days since I executed a data migration via JavaScript in the browser console sending in form requests since some apis do not exist as documented…
(No it’s surprisingly NOT Gitlab this time 🙃)

Advent Calendar Tasting Day 1
Bella Vista - Honduras
Chocolatey / Nutty notes, blends well with Oat Milk.
I’m giving this a 3/5. Nothing exciting, but well roasted „good“ coffee. I’m more in the fruit lovers fan club as well…
Brew Details
Grind size: 26 @ Mazzer Philos with I200 burrs. 18in/42out.

Was playing a bit around with AWS Code Whisperer CommandLine today. It’s much more useful than CodeWhisperer itself for me. Will certainly save some time googling some stuff.

TabNine is an underrated player in the AI Coding tools market. Their new chat beta is really solid. 🔥

Why does nobody create a movie starting with „it is the year 2100. only a few spots on planet earth are still inhabitable. The second climate war is in full effect.“
The movie is full of natural disasters and regrets about the beginning of 20th century where humanity was so stupid.
Too realistic?

GBA modding done — nice IPS screen makes this so much better. I really dig the 2d platformers like Metroid / Castlevania / Mario games

One silent revolution happening that I don't hear much about:

Cloud-based development environments.

A game changer for companies that have this, and can set it up with a few clicks. Allows engineers to change between stacks *with ease* and opens up cross-domain collaboration.

Strongly disappointed in Reddit. Won’t use it anymore once the usable third party apps are gone.

Fixing frontend dependencies is also no fun in 2023, where is the LLM for that?

The hardest part of my job is convincing the rest of the software engineers that systems and solutions are better when they are less magical. When you explain something well, it should sound obvious and not magical.

When you get into #coffee it gets harder and harder to get a good coffee outside of your own four walls. Now I need to search for roasters everywhere I go to get decent coffee 🙈

Tying identity to a (sub) domain is a much better idea than paying some dollars for a blue badge.
