One silent revolution happening that I don't hear much about:
Cloud-based development environments.
A game changer for companies that have this, and can set it up with a few clicks. Allows engineers to change between stacks *with ease* and opens up cross-domain collaboration.

The hardest part of my job is convincing the rest of the software engineers that systems and solutions are better when they are less magical. When you explain something well, it should sound obvious and not magical.

When you get into #coffee it gets harder and harder to get a good coffee outside of your own four walls. Now I need to search for roasters everywhere I go to get decent coffee 🙈
