What if DoJ dropped the Nauta/DeOliveira cases?? Wouldn’t the reports be able to be released then? Trump will pardon them anyway. And it seems that the public interest would be better served by seeing the SC’s work than pursuing those two.

Personally, I was hoping for sentencing with delay in the onset of the penalty; i.e. prison the day he’s no longer president. Knowing a cell was waiting for him would have made his second term just a bit more tolerable.
