I watched a good documentary on Hitler's rise to power & 1 of the things the experts discussed was the adversarial nature of the 3rd Reich & how Hitler was quite vague, giving only the most basic vision he had for national policy, which left his cronies competing w/ each other to the absolute bottom

i think the democratic party's paralysis at this moment is at least partially attributable to so many fucking lawyers thinking the rules are self-enforcing
