Well technically yes. You just use a short (or long) patch cable on that side to connect to the device. There are also small cases for these (that you can screw into the wall) to make things fancy.

If the cut is on one side (where the plug was) and not somewhere in the middle i'd just crimp an rj45 keystone module on there. So much easier then crimping a male rj45.
