The problem for those who embrace this vision of America is that it is Republican-dominated counties rely more heavily on government programs than Democratic-dominated counties do, cuts to government services are hitting Republican voters particularly hard.

I was sorry to hear that Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul, and Mary passed away today. I photographed him and his son Christopher in the 80s for my book Fathers and Sons. He was very kind and soft-spoken, with a lot to give. RIP #PeterYarrow #peterpaulandmary #yarrow #RIP

@btbnovelist I was sorry to hear about Barbara Taylor Bradford's passing yesterday at age 91. I photographed her at her apartment in NYC in 1997 on an assignment for #matureoutlook magazine, an article about people and their pets. She was one of the world's best-selling Romance novelists.
